🌺 ANZAC DAY 🌺
We remember and honour those who served.
All classes are running as scheduled this ANZAC weekend.
We hold space for the significance of this day while continuing to come together through dance.

10 years ago, in 2016, I opened the Auckland Academy of Adult Ballet in a little hall on Pearce St, Onehunga.
With a simple dream—to create a beautiful space where adults could learn ballet—I hoped to reach 50 students by mid-year.
Our motto was: “Love the Art, Dance with Your Heart, and Believe in Yourself.”
What followed was something truly special…
A community of adult dancers emerged, each finding their own “happy space” through ballet.
Growth exceeded all expectations, and within that very first year, we became a fully established adult ballet studio of 100 students.
As the years unfolded, AAAB flourished.
✨ Senior Swans was born
✨ A junior school was added
✨ And we evolved into Dance For Life Academy—a name that reflects the joy of dance shared across all ages and stages of life.
Today, I feel incredibly privileged to have guided hundreds of students through our doors.
And now, I’m no longer doing it alone…
I’m supported by a truly beautiful team of teachers who continue to share the joy of dance, nurture a love of the art, and inspire every student to believe in themselves.
