Had Tony in a few weeks back for a pre purchase fit and then back in today for a post purchase fit on one of the bikes we recommended - a brand-new Giant Defy. We spent some time fine-tuning his setup, and it’s dialled in beautifully. The position is as close to perfect as you can get without going fully custom, and it’s great to see all the numbers line up exactly as planned.

The new SRM Origin adjustable cranks just raised the bar.

Swap crank lengths from 160–175mm with simple bolt-on tips — no full crank swap, no compromise in stiffness. Perfect for riders chasing the ideal spin or fine-tuning comfort and power.

💡 Shorter = smoother cadence and better clearance
💪 Longer = more leverage on climbs

It’s premium tech (yep, SRM pricing to match) but this could be the future of crank design.

Would you change your crank length if it was this easy? ⚙️

And if you’re about to drop $10K or more on a new bike, using guesswork or generic sizing advice is a fast track to discomfort, poor handling, and wasted money. In this post, we’ll break down why standard sizing and height charts are outdated tools — and show you what actually matters when choosing your next bike: real geometry, stack and reach, and fit tailored to you.......

Stop Using Your Height to Choose a Bike Size!
