Having kids has changed what golf means to me. ❤️

It used to be a grind. Serious. Competitive. And honestly… not always that much fun.

But having a kid has completely changed the way I look at it.

Golf doesn’t have to mean 6 hours away from your family.

Sometimes it’s an afternoon eating ice blocks, hitting a few golf balls and then having a race to see who can pick up the most.

Sometimes it’s 3 holes in a cart followed by hot chippies. 🍟

Sometimes it’s listening to music and putting while my toddler chases my ball around.

And sometimes, if I’m really lucky, I get to sneak out for 9 or even 18 holes and remember what it feels like to actually play golf. 🏌🏼‍♀️

Like most things in life, golf will be whatever you make of it.

I don’t want to choose between being a golfer and being a mum, so I’m doing my best to blend both parts of me.

Because golf doesn’t have to compete with family life.

Sometimes, it can be part of it. ❤️

Your stock chip 🏌🏼‍♀️

Want to hit more consistent chip shots? Start with your setup 💡

I like to think of this as your stock shot - the one that works in lots of different situations and gives you a safe, reliable option around the greens.

Set up:
✅ Narrow stance
✅ Ball just inside your right heel
✅ Knees, centre of mass & eyes ahead of the ball
✅ Start square, then open your upper body so it feels like it’s pointing slightly left

The goal here is maximum consistency 🔁

Not every chip needs to look the same - different lies and situations will require adjustments. But if you can nail this setup, you’ve got a great foundation for a reliable short-game shot.

And, hopefully… fewer duffs and thins! ✌🏻

The bump & run should be a staple in every golfer’s bag. ⛳️

One of the easiest shots to have in your toolbox- and an absolute lifesaver when you’re on the fringe of the green (within 3m) especially if you’re not a fan of long putts from off the green 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️

SET UP 👇🏼
1️⃣ Stand close to the ball - about a foot away
2️⃣ Grip down
3️⃣ Narrow stance
4️⃣ Ball slightly back in your stance

THE SWING 👇🏼
Stay stable and let your shoulders do the work. Keep the arms long, wrists firm and create a simple pendulum motion.

Think about “pushing” the back of the ball towards your target, rather than trying to lift it into the air.

And keep the tempo smooth - think long putting stroke, not mini golf swing. We’re just trying to get the ball moving towards the target, not hit it all the way there.

Simple and reliable- this is one to add to your toolbox. 🔧⛳️
