⚽️ Dream big. Work hard. Don’t let anyone tell you what’s possible.

One of the biggest things we try to teach our players at 90+ is that your ambitions should never be limited by the environment around you.

There will always be people who doubt you, question your goals, or tell you something can’t be done. That’s part of the journey.

But we want our players to be brave enough to dream big, fearless enough to chase those dreams, and disciplined enough to put in the work to make them happen.

Football is a global game, and there’s a whole world of opportunities out there for those willing to push themselves.

Be brave. Be fearless. Do the extra.

And no matter how good you become, always keep your feet on the ground. Stay humble, respect others, and never stop learning.

At 90+, we want to develop more than just good footballers. We want to develop confident, hardworking young people who believe in themselves and aren’t afraid to aim high.

Don’t just follow the standard. Help raise it. 🚀

We’re not developing players to fit into the standard. We’re developing players to raise it. ⚽️

⚽️ Your first touch determines your next move.

Taking your first touch away from the defender is one of the most important habits a player can develop.

Why? 💡

✅ Creates space between you and the defender
✅ Gives you more time to make your next decision
✅ Makes it harder for defenders to press or win the ball
✅ Opens up opportunities to pass, dribble or shoot

A good first touch isn’t just about controlling the ball. It’s about putting yourself in a better position for your next action.

The best players don’t just receive the ball. They receive it with a purpose.

Advanced U12-U14 players coming in to do the WORK over the holiday period.

Many people and coaches will try to sugarcoat the reality of the effort it takes to become great at something. At 90+ we believe all players have something inside of them, all players can do more, but they need to be nurtured in the right way and PUSHED.
Keep pushing, keep dreaming, surround yourself with other players who are like minded!! The is the formula of success.

🇦🇺 90+ TAKES ON AUSTRALIA. WHAT A WEEK. 🇳🇿

🥈 RUNNERS-UP — FUTBOL TEC PREMIER INVITATIONAL

An incredible week in Australia for our 90+ boys, finishing 2nd place at the prestigious Futbol Tec Premier Invitational, competing against the best football academies in Australia.

As the only New Zealand team invited, our boys had the opportunity to test themselves against top-level opposition, experience a different football environment and show what we’re capable of on the international stage.

After an outstanding tournament, our journey ended in the final against an incredible Futbol Tec side. While we fell just short of lifting the trophy, we couldn’t be prouder of the performances, character and togetherness shown by this group throughout the week.

These experiences are about so much more than results. They’re about challenging ourselves, raising our standards and giving young New Zealand footballers opportunities to compete at the highest level possible.

A massive thank you to our coaching and support staff, and especially the parents who made this journey possible. Your commitment and support never go unnoticed. ❤️

From New Zealand to Australia. And we’re only getting started.

👀 An exciting announcement is coming. Stay tuned.

⚽️ WHY RECEIVE SIDE-ON?

Receiving side-on isn’t just about your first touch, it’s about what you can see before the ball even arrives.

When you open your body, you can see more of the pitch, identify pressure earlier and already know where your next action might be.

Receive square and your options are limited.
Receive side-on and you can play forwards, backwards or sideways.

The best players aren’t deciding after their first touch. They’re scanning, positioning their body and preparing their next action before the ball gets to them.

💡 Scan. Open up. Receive. Play forward.

Small details that create quicker players.
