We recently caught up with Revvies Ambassador and Abbotts World Marathon Majors 6 Star Finisher Mark Rogerson.
Mark is visually impaired, with only partial sight in one eye following complications brought about after surgery for a detached retina. After losing his sight in 2013 Mark entered a local 10k race to raise funds for the RNIB, to give something back to those who helped him through one of the most difficult times of his life. This set him on a path that would take him all over the world.
This year alone he has crossed the finish line in Tokyo, Boston, Berlin and just recently New York! Now that 6 Star Medal hangs proudly in his collection, he has no plans to ease off. Next year he has a place on the start line to run The London Marathon again. With Sydney now part of the World Marathon Majors Series, that race is now also firmly on his radar. Mark is also contemplating running another of the major marathons in the fall.
Alongside his passion for running is Markโs desire is to make running more inclusive, and he is now working with World Marathon Majors to help this improve across all of their races. One thing that drives him more than anything else is to have his guide runner Katie recognised as a 6 Star Finisher. Katie has ran all of the World Marathon Majors at Marks side and together they have formed a friendship that will last a lifetime.

Say hello to Revvies Ambassador and Marathon Runner Nick Sanders
Nick started running in 2018 as part of a journey to lose weight and get fit. He ran his first race in 2019, a half marathon, shortly followed by his first marathon.
Revvies are a core part of his training regime, whether it's gym work, training runs or races. They help sharpen his mind and to allow him to push back the boundaries imposed by fatigue and perceived effort; a core part of improving his race times!
Nick's biggest achievement in sport so far is coming second at the Exeter City Marathon. He managed this just two weeks after hitting his race PB at Newport Marathon!
Nick is now targeting and even faster time and is hoping to go sub 2h 45m in 2025, it's taken him a lot of work to keep pushing back limits imposed in his head during races and now he just wants to prove that he can achieve more than he often seem to think is possible.

Revvies ambassador and general manager Craig Sharp is in Germany this weekend preparing for the BERLIN-MARATHON, Craig completed all 6 Abbotts World Marathon Majors earlier this year despite being told he would never run a marathon due to his health and weight. Starting his running journey in 2014 at 20st (280lbs) he changed his life by taking up couch to 5k and eating healthy which resulted in him losing over 8st.
Now in Berlin for what he says will be his final marathon ๐ (We've heard that before) he hopes to run his fastest time before switching his focus to the SuperHalfs.
Revvies have been a huge part of his training and race day routine.
