I stock beautiful sage spray made from sage grown organically by Kylie and her family in Taranaki. It's so pure and fresh and brings clarity to the mind. I use it as room freshener, in sound baths and as a mindful pick me up if I am flagging in the afternoon .

It's somehow grounding and refreshing at the same time and I prefer it to burning sage which makes me wheezy.

Check it out when you are at the studio. It makes for a lovely gift as well.

Flash back to the 80's I am selling some Kahn and Bell designer clothes perfect for festival lovers searching for something really original to wear.

The first picture is me wearing the outfit one on the left. 1982 I think !! Then Daisy wearing it in 2018 at Spore. I was dressed as a space bishop galactic space bishop - she looked a lot cooler.

Kahn and Bell was an alternative clothes design shop in Birmingham, their have been retro exhibitions of their designs and any famous stars wore their clothes back in the day. A jacket popped up on the Antique's Roadshow and was valued at 500 pounds!

I used a reference in class today about the "bluebird of happiness" that no-one got. So I thought I would tell you about this book that I grew up with and that always stayed with me.🐦

A fabulous fairytale play written in 1908 author about Myrtle and Tyrtle brother and sister that go on a fantastical journey to find the elusive blue bird of happiness to help a fairy's sick daughter.

On their quest they encounter many spirits and concepts like the spirits of luxury and the spirits of everyday objects. They visit the land of the dead and the unborn.

Like all good fairy tales it has a moral message is that happiness is not found in money or in luxury and that the elusive blue bird of happiness if found in appreciating the beauty in the everyday and in helping others. 🩵🩵

There are a lot of "finding happiness" books in the spiritual and wellbeing section of book stores but in YOGA happiness comes from the active practice of Santosha or contentment

From contentment, unparalled happiness is attained.
