TASMAN SECONDARY SCHOOLS RUGBY 7'S CHAMPIONSHIPS

Marlborough Girls' College is looking for players interested in competing at the Tasman Secondary Schools Rugby 7s Championships.

When: Wednesday 21 October
Where: Renwick Domain

The event may extend to Thursday 22 October, depending on entries.

The tournament is open to Junior and Senior students who are currently registered with a rugby club. All players must have their own rugby boots.

If any students are interested in representing MGC, please complete the Google Form that has been posted in Google Classrooms.

Registrations will close Wednesday 23 September 2026

The first Marlborough Girls' College Softball squad training will be held on Tuesday 15 September, 3.45 pm at MGC.

Everyone is welcome, come and give it a go!

🏆 JUNIOR SQUASH TOURNAMENT! 🎾
If you’ve been coming along to our Sunday junior sessions or enjoyed having us visit your school, then this one is for you! 🙌

Our junior tournament is open to 8-16 year olds — you don’t need to be a squash club member to enter. We’re also welcoming J-graded juniors to get involved and have a go!

A great opportunity to get on court, play some matches and have fun! 💜

The combined Marlborough Girls' College and Marlborough Boys' College equestrian team had an amazing week competing in Christchurch!

Mikayla Ikenasio, Kaitlyn Ikenasio, Ben Sutherland, Sophie Oswald, Sophie Mason and Kate Edwards finished an impressive 4th overall and were also thrilled to receive the Manaakitanga Award. This special award recognises those who “strengthen the mana of horses, people and the event through positive choices and behaviours.”

A huge thank you to BetaVet NZ the sponsor of this award, for the amazing prize pack filled with goodies to support the health and wellbeing of their horses.

An incredible achievement and a wonderful reflection of the character, care and sportsmanship shown by the entire team.

Our team had the best week - thank you, ESNZ Community! We can’t wait for next year!
