Greg is another one of our proud Classic Stockcar drivers and certainly no stranger to travelling! He’s clocked up plenty of miles chasing the racing and bringing these old-school machines to tracks far and wide. 🚗💨

For Greg, it’s all about what Classic Stockcars are meant to be about — having fun, enjoying the racing, meeting new people, and making plenty of friends along the way. 🤝🏁

Whether he’s behind the wheel or catching up with fellow racers in the pits, Greg is all about enjoying the experience and making the most of every race meeting.

Next up in the Stockcar lineup is 21E Chris “Head” McKendrick! 🏁💥

Chris is known around the track as the go-to guy whenever you need a hand. He’s always the first to offer his knowledge, lend a helping hand, and supporting those around him. An all-round good guy and a huge supporter of the club, Chris was also humbled to take home Overall Sportsperson of the Year at prizegiving last season! 👏

This season sees Chris take on the role of Captain of the Eastern States Titans Development Team. With his great leadership skills, level head, and passion for the club, he’ll be a fantastic ambassador for the team.

His goals are clear — to get the team up and running, build a strong foundation, and help keep it going for the future. 💪🏁

Next up is 32N Classic Stockcars — Rob Anglesey! 🏁💥

These boys sure know how to bring back the old-school Classic Stockcars, and Rob is right at the heart of it. As President of the Top of South Stockcars, he’s certainly passionate about keeping the classics alive and showing everyone what these old cars can still do!

Another one of our proud travelling drivers, Rob is all about getting out there, putting on a show, and having plenty of fun along the way. This coming season is all about enjoying the racing, turning some laps, and making the most of every opportunity! 💥

If you’re ever at the track early, be sure to head down into the pits and check out these classic machines up close. It’s pretty cool to see how Stockcars used to be built compared to what we see on the track today!

🔥🏁 Next up in our Stockcar lineup, we’re excited to welcome back 46E Jacob Lutherus! 🏁🔥

A familiar face who’s no stranger to putting in the miles, Jacob is back at Eastern States Speedway and ready for another season of Stockcar action.

Bringing home 3rd Place at the Greymouth King of the Coast was a big highlight of Jacob’s season. After upgrading his car halfway through the season, the main goal was to get plenty of seat time, build confidence and gain more experience racing amongst the bigger fields. 🏁💪

This season, Jacob is another one of our successful drivers selected to compete in the Eastern States Titans development team, giving him the opportunity to chase one of his big dreams — getting out there and experiencing the thrill of team racing! 🔥

With another season of experience behind him, we’re excited to see what Jacob can bring to the track this season. We’ll be cheering him on both individually and as he takes on the challenge of representing the Titans!

🔥🏁 Next up in our Streetstock lineup is 77E Garry Phillips! 🏁🔥

Whilst new to Eastern States Speedway this season, Garry is no stranger to the race track, having raced throughout the South Island.

Making the move from Productions and trying his hand in a Streetstock, it’ll be exciting to see how Garry adapts to the new class and where this season takes him. 🏁🔥

With a new car, a new class and a new track to call home, we’re looking forward to watching Garry get out there and show us what he can do!

🔥🏁 Next up in our Youth Ministock lineup is 11E Sophie Webb! 🏁🔥

Sophie started her racing journey with us last season as one very nervous young driver! 😬🏁 But as the season progressed, so did Sophie — consistently improving her lap times as she gained more experience and confidence behind the wheel.

Taking home Charlie’s Entertainer of the Night last season was certainly a highlight and gave Sophie a fantastic confidence boost! 🏆❤️

With some big goals set for this season, it will be exciting to see just how far Sophie can progress. With another season of experience under her belt, we’re sure she’ll be looking to push herself even further and show us what she can do!

She’s definitely one to keep an eye on this season, and we’re looking forward to following Sophie’s journey and cheering her on every step of the way! 🏁🔥

🔥🏁 Next up in our Production lineup is 47E Jordan Scott! 🏁🔥

Jordan started his racing career with us last season, making the trip up from Christchurch for each meeting — and what a debut season it was!

Not only did Jordan take home the Production Most Improved award at Prizegiving, but he also picked up Best Presented Production — a fantastic achievement for his first season behind the wheel! 👏🏆

This season, Jordan has set himself two goals: win a race and complete the season. With another year of experience under his belt, we’re sure he’ll be looking to build on that impressive first season and push even further up the field.

He’s certainly one to watch this season, and we’re looking forward to following Jordan’s progress and cheering him on every step of the way! 🏁🔥
