More success for our club: this time, our Women's Pennant team has won this year's interclub, played at Rarangi Golf Club.

Congratulations to our MacDonald Cup finalists, again an all-Marlborough Golf Club final with MGC 1 team edging out MGC 2, highlighting the club's strength in the elite competition.

Congratulations also to Awatere Golf Club and Picton Golf Club Inc for taking out the Foote and Fairhall Cups respectively.

🏆 Marlborough Men’s Interclub Finals ⛳️

Today, Picton Golf Club hosted the finals of the three Marlborough Men’s Interclub divisions, with some fantastic golf and plenty of drama throughout the day.

🏆 MacDonald Cup
🥇 Winner: Marlborough Golf Club at Fairhall 1
🥈 Runner-up: Marlborough 2
Marlborough 1 defeated Marlborough 2, 5–3.

🏆 Foote Cup
🥇 Winner: Awatere Golf Club
🥈 Runner-up: Rarangi Golf Club
This division couldn’t be split after the 6 matches and went all the way to a playoff hole, where Awatere secured the win.

🏆 Fairhall Cup
🥇 Winner: Picton
🥈 Runner-up: Rarangi
Another incredibly close contest, going right down to the last hole, with a successful putt deciding the winner.

It was a long day for some, particularly the MacDonald Cup players, who teed off at 8:30am and played 36 holes! 😮‍💨⛳️

A fantastic day of Interclub golf, played in super weather and with plenty of great competition across all three divisions.

Congratulations to all the winners and runners-up, and a huge thank you to Picton Golf Club Inc for hosting the finals. 👏🏆

We had 17 keen golfers attend our Mini golf and putting Clinic run by Chas Craig at MGC today. I’m sure we all learnt a lot of handy tips - thanks Chas. Also a huge shout out to Mat and his Chef for producing two yummy hot soup choices and buns - perfect nourishing winter food.

Congratulations to our very own Club President Mark Watson for recognition of his devotion to community and people at this years Marlborough Community and Volunteer of the Year awards.

Mark received the Community Pillar Award.

As we know he also gives so much to our club!
