So great today to see 28 players at our rollup today. Thankyou to Bill Winter for allowing us to play on the grass which was really nice. Thankyou for everyone who helped set up and put things away afterwards. Nice for us to have the Bar open again. Thankyou Rod Sentch.

A fantastic afternoon for our ladies today with 22 members meeting up for lunch at the Stallions. Great comradery and lovely meals. Thankyou Mary Hughes for organizing this event prior to our Opening Day.

Wow what a day for our final 2 bowl open winter tournament sponsored by Onyx. Many thanks to Rod Beecroft and team for organizing everything. The weather won in the end with only 3 games played.

It is with great sadness that we let you know of the recent passing of one of our much respected long time members Hans Kerkhof aged 81. Hans passed away peacefully on the 7th August at Waikato Hospital.
His funeral is on Saturday 29th August in the River Room at Gibson Funerals Gillies Street Cambridge at 11am followed by burial at Hautapu Cemetry.
There will be a get together with Han's family at the club rooms on this Friday evening.
