What is yin yoga? Yin yoga is a style of yoga that targets deep connective tissues, such as your fascia, ligaments and tendons.
Yin yoga utilises more passive poses than you might generally think of when someone says yoga; these poses are held for a longer timeframe too, allowing your body to relax into the pose, lengthening and stretching muscles and tissues you may neglect in daily life.
The slower pace pairs nicely with our focus on breathwork and meditation, as we lean into the stillness.
Yin yoga has a range of benefits, such as improved sleep, reduced anxiety and stress, increased circulation and better flexibility.
