After selling the NRC I thought my season was done but I was lucky enough to be thrown the keys to naughty๐Ÿ‘€ for king of the coast (cheers Sam).

Heat 1 started 7th finished 8th just feeling out the car and learning how to drive

Heat 2 started 9th finished around 12th after having the car cut out a couple times.

Heat 3 with the issue potentially being found, started 19th finished 6th racing from lap one with 100mm tow out on the right front๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ but managed to keep my car on four wheels in a action packed final heat.

It was a fun meeting to be a part of and an awesome way to cap off my first season in stockcars, onto the next๐Ÿ‘Š
Thank you to Dad, Sam and Kahu for crewing and As always thanks to all the awesome sponsors ๐Ÿ‘‡

Double header

Headed to Woodford Glen Speedway Association Inc. on Friday night for the stockcar shoot out. Optimism was short lived with the lift arm bolt flying to bits on the parade lap ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Heat 1: DNS.
Heat 2: 2nd
Heat 3: 14th

Eastern States Speedway

Shout out W***y P and Paul Dumelow for sorting us out last minute and the blenheim club for accommodating us.

Heat 1: 2nd
Heat 2: DNF
Heat 3: 8th

Good learning experience taking the car to a new track. Car was hooking up a little to well with spinning the tyres on the rims and blowing a RR Heat 2.

Massive thanks to the everyone who gave there time on friday to help sort the lift arm. Dad and Kahu for backing me up and heading up to blenheim. Can't forget to mention the hours Dad and Tom put in last minute to get the car prepped in time. Not the most ideal weekend results wise not having the rub of the green either night just getting tangled up but that's racing.

Big Tom Jack has the keys this weekend for King of the coast as he gears up for next year.

As always thanks to the partners that have helped keep the lights on this season

Battle of the stocks

Definitely one of the events I look foward to the most at the start of the year. Was lucky enough to draw 13v Lucas Hey (Hey's Race Team) as my partner for the weekend.

Had a bit of a rough night one with things just not going to plan and just getting caught up. Fortunately Lucas put a big shift in and qualified for the shootout keeping us in the hunt.

After a busy morning of pulling the car to bits hunting to find a bit more pace in the old girl we rolled out for night 2 sitting 9th in the pairs.

Lucas grabbed another result in the shootout and from there we were on. Moved foward in every race as a pair. Got the ๐Ÿ heat 2 and after a strong heat 3. Managed to come away with 2nd in the pairs.

Massive credit goes out to the club and volunteers for making it a great event once again and to the drivers that travel every year to make it a top class field. Wicked to stand on the podium with a bunch of top blokes.

Huge shout out to Lucas and his crew great fun getting paired up. Hopefully go one better next year ๐Ÿซฃ

Finally a massive thanks to Dad, Mum,Tom and pop for their time and effort over the weekend can't do it without you and to the businesses that have continued to support us keeping the lights on.

NZ Teams

Surreal is the best way to describe it

I'd just like to extend my gratitude to the village of people that were a part of the weekend. Firstly to Amiee, Jayden, James and all the people in the crushers management behind the scenes who've spent the hours organizing the trip and gave me the opportunity and privilege to put the kit on once again.

The team sponsors Campbell and Lyndsay Mcmanaway, it's unreal the investment and support you guys have put into this team. I can't thank you enough.

MBY Engineering opening their doors and letting us hook in after night 1.

The lads who went up with the same goal and who laid it all out on the line. Harley, Huggies, Wade, Housty, Hadleigh. All the small tips and tricks and guidance is invaluable. Taking the time to answer all my questions has allowed me to take a heap of learning out of the weekend and for being a bunch of legends to spend the weekend with๐Ÿ‘Œ

My family and crew, One hell of a haul up country and the sacrifices everyone has made to give me the chance to race at this level is incredibly humbling and I'll never be able to thank you all enough

On the racing side of things went out and had a bit of a mischief against Baypark and banked a great result. And from there I had the best seat in the house watching the best in the business go to work.

Congratulations to Gizzy and Rotorua and to every driver and crew make these events what they are.

Stoked would be an understatement

The NZ Stockcar Title at Woodford Glen Speedway Association Inc.

This was the one I'd been looking forward to since getting in a stockcar last season, after a lot of time and effort in the shed we headed out for night 1.

Heading into qualifing the goal was to get enough points to be racing night 2

Heat 1 started 16th finished 11th with a clean and tidy race to start off the night.

Heat 2 started 3rd spent most of the race in 5th before my diff went halfway through the race, i kept pushing on with my diff getting closer and closer to giving me an explosive hello๐Ÿ‘‹, I decided to pull off. Turns out the white flag was just around the corner and I didnt see it, I was gutted to say the least but that just part of the sport sometimes.

Heat 3 Dns

Although I did'nt make it to night 2 I got to have some awesome laps with some of the best in the country, learn a buch and just have a bloody good time racing.
Huge thanks to all those that make events like this happen and run so smoothly despite the rain doing its best to disrupt. To all the fantastic sponsors that keep us going, thank you we appreciate it.

NZ Title Woodford Glen Speedway Association Inc.

Well it was the big show of the year and after countless hours and massive graft behind the scenes. Went in with just the goal of having something race for on night 2.

It was always going to be hard work against a quality group of drivers and some fast race cars. Qualifying was abit all over the shop with the rain and some good character in the race track but managed to scrape in and qualify for the big show.

Finals didn't quite go as I hoped with the fuel pump tripping out heat 1.
Finished up 10th heat 2.
Heat 3: We went stockcar racing and how good. Laid it out on the line and did what I could to try and get the boys home.

Firstly massive congratulations to Caleb on back 2 back. Stoked for Harley to take out 2NZ and Riley for 3NZ. Massive credit to everyone in the finals North and South was wicked bumping rails with some of the best of the best.

To my sponsors, family and crew to even qualify was a dream come true and a testament to the quality of people I have supporting me.

Massive thanks Dyl, Harley and Jamie for taking the time out of a hectic weekend to help with set up tweaks and troubleshooting the fuel pump.

And big shout out to the Steiners for dragging out the concrete saw and cutting the bumper corner off. Legends

Met a whole bunch of great people over the weekend and 22NZ sounds good to me. Now to see how much mischief is left in the season ๐Ÿ‘€

Club night at Woodford glen

After 5 weeks of sitting on the sidelines and a late entry after some serious fomo. I had the chance to give the car a shake down after the roll ahead of the NZ title.

Heat 1 Grid 6 โžก๏ธ 1st
Heat 2 Grid 16 โžก๏ธ 4th
Heat 3 Grid 10 โžก๏ธ 6th

As the results suggest the car goes alot better when all 4 wheels are on the ground ๐Ÿ˜…
Massive thanks to Dyl, Dad and Tom for putting in the effort into repairing the car after my previous efforts of wrecking it at Rumble.

The businesses and the people that support us and keep us running week in and week out.

Cheers
