Christchurch AFL 9’s

After that announcement I hate having to cancel the AFL9’s comp on Sunday but it seems like it will be the best idea as the clubs can’t travel from other areas and at best we will be level 2-3 on Sunday which will restrict everything.

Obviously not the most ideal News for everyone to hear but everyone just stay safe and look after one another and let’s all hope the lockdown is not for too long and we can get kick off with round 1 in a couple of weeks.

Hi All.

We need to see registrations coming in over the next two weeks.
If you haven’t already registered please get on to it this week as it is important for us to be able to keep track of numbers and who is on what team.

Wow... great to see the Mid Canterbury Eagles putting in the Hard yards and getting themselves into a position to support AFLW in Canterbury.

Here it is folks.

The news everyone’s been waiting for.

On August 22nd Christchurch AFL9’s is teaming up with Canterbury AFL to bring the biggest National Competition held on the South Island.... Teams from all over the country are going to gather for a day of competitive and social games.

Not only this but we will also be hosting the first national women’s 9’s competition with ladies teams from all over participating.

This will be the first time the clubs will be able to play against one another in a social environment and enjoy good food, music and just have a great time. There will also be an after party for everyone.

Any team can enter a side and we would encourage entries from all ages from youth right up to those of you who think you are too old when really you still got it. 👌👌👌
