With Wednesday's first day of the Over 70's World Cup tournament in Christchurch abandoned after the poor weather in the lead up making pitch preparation impossible, the side Rest of the World squad, and the USA teams, have been conducting regular practices in the Indoor Centre - fortunately, the weather now looks perfect for cricket, for the next couple of weeks anyway
The pictures are of the USA squad.

Vistors to the indoor centre should be aware that there has been a recent spate of break-ins to cars in the park's car park - we would strongly suggest that nothing is left visible in your car, especially at night when it may be wiser to park in Brougham Street.

Nelda Salt (centre), wife of stalwart, the late Brian Salt, finally paid a visit to the Indoor Centre today accompanied by two other legends in Dave and Dianne Gallop. Great to host them and show them the further great work that was started by DL, Salty and others many years ago

The Indoor Centre has welcomed Kelly Sports to the facility over the two weeks of the school holidays. Amongst its other activities, Kelly Sports runs school holiday programs for 5-13 year olds which are both varied and entertaining, and from the sound levels evident over the days, clearly exciting and stimulating
