Out with the old......
This slick set of new threads turned up about half an hour before we headed off to the Peter Brown Memorial a couple of Fridays ago so was unable to fit. Will he sorted for the Micheal Godfrey Memorial this weekend though.
Huge thanks for the continued support of Cornê's sponsors, old and new.

Haven't posted in quite some time. Naughty me. Cornê hasn't exactly being doing much riding due to recovery from December's hickup. Back at it this weekend though via the
This is a little edit Cornê and I played around with a month ago.

So this happened on Friday. Both casts off. Left arm still requires the help of a soft brace for a bit longer. At least showering is easier.
Starting physio today. Hoping he's back in action sooner rather than later as the nagging is driving me crazy 😄
Big thanks to the continued support of all his sponsors.

(Edited as didn't copy over from Instagram post)
With only an hour and a half left of 2024 (for NZ anyway), I finally sat down for an update for everyone. On the 6th of December we headed to the Nelson area to do Practice Day 2 for the Nelson SX Champs (which was the following weekend) at the infamous Rat Track the following day. We decided to stay the week as I wasn't working and to save travel time and costs to return the following weekend, which meant the last week off school for Cornê, which he didn't complain about 😄 With a week to now fill, we had made a plan for Cornê to go mountain biking on day 2 with his local MX buddy , whom we were staying with, followed by a few days riding at the compound with on their MX and SX tracks.
Come practice day, a hot one at that, and session one went well, with Cornê exceeding my expectations. Then came session two, and that's when s**t hit the fan. Without too much detail, it ended with 2 broken arms and a left elbow. 2 re-casts later and the left arm keeps moving out of alignment which may require surgery. Will know more in a few weeks.
Anyway, '25 has to be better right?
Wishing all his sponsors and followers, new and old, a happy new year. Keep it straight and in rhythm!

Near half way to Nelson for tomorrow's SX practice day. Staying up for the week with to have a crack at the Nelson SX Champs next weekend, with a few days riding in-between at a secret location 😉

With the 2024 Mini O's finishing up on Monday NZ time at Gatorback in Florida, we look back on what could have been. Who would have thought that what started off as a casual question on a FB page way back at the start of the year would lead to the opportunity to ride a fully sponsored Mod YZ65. The plan then became to try and make it over to Spokane to do some testing in May, then back to Texas in October to stay by old mate .mx to do some local training, and then a road trip down to Gainsville. Unfortunately we weren't expecting the 6+ months it took to renew Cornê's passport, which then would have required a visit to the US Embassy in Wellington to apply for a US entry visa. As you may have guessed, we had to pull the pin.
With the chance to ride a 65 for the last time gone, we now look towards 2025.
Big thanks to Jerhad Austin at .jracin for giving us the opportunity. Let's give the 85's in '25 a crack!
Thanks to the continued support of all our current sponsors.

A couple of months ago we had the opportunity to change gear brands. With limited numbers of the new '25 Thor range coming in, and with an offer of help when we finally get to the States (update in next post), we jumped at the chance to showcase this new gear.
With our graphics guy no longer doing shirt printing, we went local with a company that does my work's apparel.
Big thanks to James at for helping us out.

Haven't posted in while. Naughty me. Anyway, we're off to the Laken Proctor Remembrance fun day today. Have a feeling we might need a few filters. Hopefully 6 is enough 😄
