From day one you had our backs. From preseason right through every game, you pushed us, backed us and supported us, giving us the tools and the confidence to always believe in ourselves and keep pushing. 🙏

Colleen, our coach — the time and effort you've put into this team, fresh to the Parklands coaching role, has been incredible. Always keeping us accountable, tweaking our game, making the tough calls when needed, and trusting us on court to get the job done. Your skill, knowledge, passion and fire did not go unnoticed. 🔥

Fred, our fitness manger — your boxing sessions through preseason and over the mid-season holiday break, along with your motivational chats, were the edge we needed. You broke us so we'd come back stronger, and gave us those extra few minutes in every game to push through and drag back any result we needed. (Still not sure that stopwatch is right when we run those shuttles or boxing rounds 😉)

Michelle, our manager — the years of effort you've put into coaching to get us to this point have been amazing. Stepping back to spend more time with your family but still giving up your time as manager to support us and Colleen, bring the strong word AND the sarcastic vibe, we can't thank you enough. Oh, and we can't forget the Warriors socks! We'll miss you at prizegiving but we'll make sure to have a w**e (or 10) for you. 🍷

The way you packed the sidelines for the final blew us away, you were our 8th player when it mattered most and it wasn't just the big day, we felt your support at every game throughout the season. 2026 What a season!

Congratulations to all teams that have worked hard to succeed this season, especially our very own Senior A Team! 🙌🤩

WE DID IT!!!

Our Senior A team are officially Challenge Three winners and now promoted to Challenge 2 for the 2027 season!

After a tense, physical grand final against Middleton A, the girls came out on top 32–30 to claim the title. ⬆️🔥

All square at the quarter, the lead swung back and forth all night in a real arm-wrestle. The girls held their nerve when it mattered most and got the job done on the biggest stage of all. 👏

The crowd was absolutely electric, our 8th player who helped roar this team home. Thank you to everyone who came down and got behind them! 📣

In the words of their coach Colleen: "I am super proud of the work and fight this well-bonded team has put into this season, and because of this they have a well deserved title."

From our first season in the Closed grade to champions and a step up to Challenge 2 grade for 2027, what a story, what a team. 🖤💛
