Great to see so many ladies out at Ellesmere Golf Club on Thursday night. There was a range from ‘play semi-often’ to 'have had a few rounds' to 'never held a club'. Thanks to Heather and Sue for the coaching and the lovely snacks, refreshments, social time in the clubhouse afterwards.
This week Greendale Golf Club are hosting us. Same format 6pm kick-off, 90 mins golf returning back to the clubhouse. Groups of 3 mixing up experienced players/coaches with those needing a hand, or coaching for newbies – depends on who turns up as to how we play it. $10, drinks and refreshments afterwards.
This is a new incentive to encourage ladies to come out, have a laugh and try golf without any expectations.
Like and share this page, come along on your own or badger your mates to come too. Golf is about social connection, meeting new people, the great outdoors, gentle exercise with a club and a ball in hand… (and occasionally making the latter connect nicely). It’s not about being good at golf!
