✨ TOP 3 TIPS FOR SHIFTING YOUR PRIORITIES ✨

You do have time ~ it’s just about what you’re currently prioritising. And while health & fitness might not always be your number one focus, prioritising movement and nourishing your body has a ripple effect into every part of your life.

When you take care of yourself, you:
✔️ sleep better
✔️ have more energy
✔️ improve your mood
✔️ reduce stress
✔️ feel more confident
✔️ show up better as a friend, mum, partner & overall human 🤍

Here are 3 simple ways I have started prioritising me the past 2 weeks:

1️⃣ Move your body for at least 20 minutes a day
Walk, run, gym, Pilates, yoga… it honestly doesn’t matter. Just move. If you can do more than 20 minutes, amazing, but start small and stay consistent.

2️⃣ Drink more water 💧
Yes, everyone says it… because it works. Staying hydrated can help reduce puffiness, improve digestion, support fat loss, increase energy, improve skin health, reduce headaches, help muscle recovery and even improve sleep quality.

3️⃣ Prioritise high-protein meals 🍳
Protein helps keep you fuller for longer, reduces cravings, supports muscle recovery and growth, stabilises blood sugar levels, boosts metabolism and helps maintain lean muscle while losing body fat.

Small habits done consistently create the biggest changes over time.
Start with one thing today, your future self will thank you.

Moving countries, starting a new job, quality time with family, exploring a new city…

Training has looked a bit different, less gym, less running, less routine…

I try to remind my clients that it’s totally normal for things to pop up and the gym might not be as high of a priority to when you’re in your normal routine and that’s okay, so I’m trying to remind myself the same thing 💌

Current goal: be able to at least walk up the hill without having a heart attack… next goal, run up the hill 😂🙃☠️
