Brodie Morris Racing

It was a stacked field last night at Ruapuna with over 20 quarters on the track

Brodie had a good start in his heats coming home in 7th and 9th from grids 12 and 9.

This put him off P6 for the feature where everything turned to shambles. He started making his way through the grid when on the 3rd yellow for the race, there was some contact with another car resulting in Brodie spinning out and being sent to the back of the field.

With only a few laps left he climbed his way back into 13th. Unfortunate way to end the year but that’s just the way the cards played!

We now have a 2.5 month break with no quarter midget racing for Brodie until the end of February

Back at Ruapuna tonight as a support class for the USA invasion!

It was a mixed bag for Brodie on Saturday at Ruapuna

The night started off awesome with Brodie going from 2nd to 1st in heat one! Heat 2 saw him off P15 where he managed to quickly climb up to 6th until a bolt snapped resulting in an unfortunate DNF for the race.

This set him back in the feature but he came home 6th from 12th! He really wanted a podium but we just needed more laps or a better feature starting position. Nevermind, roll on Ruapuna Internationals Dec 12th!

Heat one winner!! 🔥🔥

We are out at Ruapuna for attempt 2 at 25/26 Canterbury Champs after a rainout the other weekend

Brodie is off Grid 2 for heat one and Grid 15 for heat two 🔥

We are back out at Ruapuna Speedway tonight for the 25/26 Canterbury Champs!

Brodie placed third in this meeting last year so fingers crossed we can better that! 👊🏼

PODIUM FINISH FOR OPENING NIGHT AT Ruapuna Speedway! 🥉

Brodie had a stellar start to night making his way from 5th - 2nd after some great battles in heat one. Followed by coming home 4th, from 8th, in heat two. Unfortunately the race was called early due to a crash, we hope the driver involved is okay and feeling better!

This put him off grid 4 for the feature where he came home in 3rd!!!

A massive shoutout to Dylan for flying down to help us out after a hectic few weeks. And a big thanks to Karen for her support and everyone who has offered to help us get Brodie racing. It’s greatly appreciated - thank you! Also a major thank you to Maryann for repping the quarter midget class again this season.
