The Otahuna Lodge, Tai Tapu, Canterbury.
This beautiful and historic building was first built as a lavish wedding gift in 1895,
Otahuna’s story has since seen many chapters. For over 60 years it was the private estate of one of New Zealand’s most beloved public figures. It housed a monastery and teaching seminary, and was later home to a storied commune. It has even hosted its share of visiting monarchs.
FFP Canterbury Limited have been proudly looking after this this magnificent building since 2011
Providing inspections and testing for,
Sprinkler systems, Emergency warning systems, Automatic fire doors, Emergency lighting, Emergency signs, Final Exits, Fire separation's, Smoke separation's, Extinguishers, Hose reels, Blankets and Building Warrant of Fitness.
We take pride in what we do and love being a part of keeping history alive, in use and safe for our communities to enjoy.
