I am incredibly honoured to have travelled to the Philippines to judge both the inaugural WNBF Bohol show and the 10th WNBF Philippines Championship. 🇵🇭🏆

Every time I come to the Philippines, I am reminded why it holds such a special place in my heart. The athletes were absolutely incredible, bringing world-class conditioning, passion, sportsmanship, and respect for natural bodybuilding. But beyond the stage, it is still the people that make this country one of the best in the world. The warmth, kindness, and energy here are truly unmatched.

A special thank you must go to Chris Byrne, President of WNBF Philippines. None of this would have been possible without Chris's vision, leadership, and tireless work behind the scenes. To see WNBF Philippines celebrate its 10th show while also launching the inaugural Bohol event is a testament to the incredible foundation he has built for natural bodybuilding in the Philippines. Chris continues to create opportunities for athletes, officials, and the wider WNBF family across Asia, and we are all grateful for his contribution to the sport.

It was also a privilege to sit alongside some outstanding international judges and federation leaders from across the WNBF family:

• Dominique Perez – Vice President of WNBF Guam
• Jeff Saavedra – President of WNBF Guam
• Daisuke Inoue – President of WNBF Japan

One of the highlights of the weekend was having the honour of awarding a WNBF Classic Physique Pro Card to an athlete I have personally competed against several times over the years. To see someone who truly embodies the values of health, longevity, family, discipline, and natural bodybuilding reach that level was incredibly special.

A huge thank you also to White Dragon Media for the incredible photography and videography throughout the event. Capturing the energy, emotion, and achievements of the athletes is such an important part of preserving these memories, and the team did an outstanding job.

The future of natural bodybuilding across Asia has never looked stronger, and I am proud that WNBF New Zealand grows

One of the most powerful skills you can develop is learning to forgive yourself.

A lot of people carry shame from mistakes, failures, relationships, business decisions, parenting, life… but beating yourself up forever doesn’t build character. Growing through it does.

Give yourself some grace. Learn. Adapt. Move forward. That’s real strength. 💯

“Health is wealth” means nothing if you’re sacrificing your long-term health just to chase a temporary look.

Real health isn’t just abs, veins, and followers.
It’s blood pressure. Heart health. Hormones. Longevity. Mental clarity. Energy. Fertility. Quality of life..

Too many people preach wellness while abusing compounds that destroy the very thing they claim to value.

Build a body that performs.
Build a mind that lasts.
Build habits you can sustain for decades.

There’s nothing impressive about looking healthy while your internal health is collapsing.
Real strength is earned naturally. 💯

Massage guns are overrated.

They’ve become one of the biggest “quick fix” tools in the fitness industry. Everyone thinks 5 minutes vibrating a sore muscle is going to fix recovery, mobility, pain, or tightness.

Reality is… it’s mostly temporary stimulation.
Massage guns can increase blood flow and briefly reduce the feeling of tightness, but they don’t compare to proper deep tissue work done by an experienced therapist.

A quality deep tissue massage can:
• Release chronic tension patterns
• Improve tissue quality
• Break down adhesions and restrictions
• Improve movement and posture
• Increase circulation properly
• Help downregulate the nervous system
• Identify problem areas you can’t assess yourself

Most importantly, a real therapist can actually feel what’s happening in the tissue and adapt pressure and technique accordingly. A massage gun just repeatedly vibrates the surface area.
That’s why people often feel amazing for 20 minutes after using a massage gun… then the tightness comes straight back.

Deep tissue massage combined with:
• Strength training
• Mobility work
• Sleep
• Hydration
• Good nutrition
• Stress management
…will outperform recovery gadgets every single time.
Tools don’t replace fundamentals.
And vibration doesn’t replace skilled hands.

Self examination and self awareness. These two skills are extremely important to developing a strong character. The fun thing is you never truly master them no matter how old you get.

If you have had multiple failed relationships, businesses and jobs perhaps it's time to look internally... because the common factor in all of these is you.

It's confronting alright - but its a key step on the path to growth.
