🎾 Junior Tennis Tour to Brisbane– What an Opportunity! 🌏

Five of our competitive junior players from TKHP, along with 5 other players from the Canterbury region are currently in Brisbane competing at the junior “Rod Laver” events, two of the highest level junior tournaments in Queensland. .
Our tour group is made up of TKHP players Leon Tian (10) Spencer Shepherd (11), Maki Leek (12), Louis Tian (13) and Mike Zheng (14). Canterbury players Liam Jones, Tom Dawson, Raymond Yan, Marcel Dumont and Max Sowman (Marlborough) are also with us.
The team is being looked after by manager Katherine Shepherd and coaches Hugo Strang (TKHP) and Gareth Robb (Bishopdale TC).

It is such an exciting tour for these young players, where they get the chance to test themselves against strong overseas competition, experience different playing styles, and continue to develop both on and off the court.
Everyone has managed to win some tough matches, but this trip is about much more than that. Our players are here to be inspired, build resilience, confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships while representing our club and our region.

We couldn't be prouder of the attitude and commitment from everyone so far.
