Boccia New Zealand

Today is teams and pairs finals day at the 2026 Boccia World Championships in Seoul, South Korea. Our own Scott Martin will be refereeing the BC1/2 Teams gold medal match. You should be able to view it on this stream, https://play.sooplive.com/worldboccia, at 5:40pm today.
20 years ago on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro we also had a very important presence in that gold medal match. When the BC1/2 team of Jeremy, Annie, Maurice and Liam defeated Portugal to claim the title of best in the world. Bloody legends.

Chloe lost her second game today at the 2026 Cairo World Boccia Challenger and that is her tournament over. She did however play much better than yesterday and made her (top seeded) opponent work hard for her points.

Chloe Sturt is warmed up and waiting for the start of her 2nd game at the 2026 Cairo World Boccia Challenger.

Chloe had a poor start against her Portuguese opponent and eventually lost 0-15. She was very disappointed but is determined to bounce back tomorrow for her next game (6:30pm, Wednesday 29th NZ time).
