Stoked to have been involved with some super fun events over the last couple of weeks! We had bluebird skies at the Remarkables Mini Shred, some slightly more wintery conditions at the Mt Hutt Independent Schools Ski Racing and a day at the Blue Pub in Methven where, despite the lack of on snow competition, the BMS Corporate Ski event was still fiercely contended! Thanks NZ Ski and for organising!

❄️📈Current guidance suggests snow accumulations may exceed half a metre around Burkes Pass and Lindis Pass, while significant falls are also likely across the wider Mackenzie Country highlands.

❄️Road conditions could deteriorate rapidly at times, with closures, restrictions and difficult travel possible depending on exactly where the heaviest snow develops. This remains a dynamic and fluid situation, with elements of 'warm advection'.
