🚨 Head Coach Announcement 🚨

We are thrilled to announce the signing of Travis Muller as our Head Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Travis brings a wealth of experience to the club, and his knowledge of the game, leadership, and coaching expertise will be invaluable. His experience will provide outstanding mentoring for our playing group while helping drive high standards both on and off the field.

We're excited to welcome Travis to Riccarton Cricket Club and can't wait to see the impact he'll have this season. Welcome aboard, Travis! 💚🏏

NEW SIGNING | JOSH MCKENZIE

Riccarton Cricket Club is excited to welcome Josh McKenzie to the Mighty Rics for the 2026/27 season.

Josh is a 22-year-old batting all-rounder joining us from Midland Guildford Cricket Club in Perth, where he has progressed through the club’s junior and senior system and gained strong experience in the Western Australian Premier Cricket competition.

A top-order batter who also offers a useful medium-pace option, Josh is looking forward to testing himself in Christchurch Metro Cricket competition and continuing his development.

Welcome to the Mighty Rics, Josh. We can’t wait to see you in green and gold this summer!

Player / Coach Opportunity – Premier Cricket (2026/27 Season)

Riccarton Cricket Club is seeking a high-quality Player / Coach to help lead its Premier side into the 2026/27 season.

Working alongside a youthful and talented Premier squad, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role both on and off the field. The successful applicant will contribute strongly as a player while also helping drive standards, support player development, and help shape the club’s Premier environment.

You will be well supported by the Club Coach, Club Captain, and Premier Manager, and will play a pivotal role in leading and strengthening Riccarton Cricket Club’s Premier campaign.

• Proven performer at a high level of club cricket
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to develop emerging players
• Passion for high-performance environments and club culture
• Ready for a new challenge within a competitive Premier competition

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Devine as our new club coach in what will be a holistic role across our morning grade teams. Pete has a remarkable record at Riccarton, coaching sides to multiple white and red ball trophies, including four titles in the last four years, along with two promotions, and fostering a strong winning culture.

The 2025/26 summer might be over for us, but for these 3 RCC lads they’ll be continuing abroad across the UK ✈️

A mention also to Gijs Kuijstermans (Netherlands) and Finlay Testa (England) who will be returning home to their respective clubs after spending time with us this summer, it’s been a pleasure fellas 🤝
