We're on the hunt for Nelson/Tasman businesses looking to have eyes on their brand, while getting behind the local team preparing to take on the nation's best in their own backyard.
The New Zealand Midget Championship takes place right here in Nelson in January 2027, which means thousands of spectators, and thousands more watching online, looking at your brand.
If you are interested in partnering with our team this season, send us a message, and we'll respond with our comprehensive proposal.

Join in wishing Andrew a happy 57th birthday today!
The number 57 is a special number to the Brown family...
His father Donald ran 57 when he started in speedway (also 57 years ago). Andrew then used it from the 90s through to the 2010s. And to this day, his son Jamie continues to run the 57.

4th place to finish off our season again. Ran 2nd for most of the Feature race but the slick track made it difficult to make a pass for the lead despite being slightly quicker. Eventually fell to a couple of quicker cars in the closing laps.
Big congrats to Scott Millar on the win, so cool to see the V4 win a big one! And to Nathan and Ben for their podium places.
We've finished top four in the Barry Butterworth four years straight now. Another great end to a season!
Big thanks again to our supporters for this season;

It's our final race day of the season at the beautiful Ellesmere Speedway, beneath the snowy Southern Alps, for the Barry Butterworth Memorial.
After some self-inflicted setup issues at the Gold Cup weekend a couple of weekends ago, we have the car ready to go and hopefully have a solid end to the season as we have the past few years.
Thank you to our awesome supporters as always;

Got a bit dirty last night! Timed 13th quick out of 26 cars and went on to finish 5th in our Heat after leading the first couple of laps.
The Feature did not go to plan, with the brakes getting cooked within a handful laps, and fell to the rear, eventually finishing in 17th.
All cleaned up and ready to go again tonight for the Gold Cup! Hopefully no more brake issues on the horizon. 🤞

It may be a Friday, but we are going racing tonight at Ruapuna Speedway for the BT Race 4 Mates!
It's a unique format for a great cause remembering Bryce Townsend, with time trial qualifying, a single Heat race, then a 30 lap Feature at the end of the night.
Big thanks to our supporters;

Good luck to everyone competing in the Midget Eliminator at Ruapuna tonight. Sadly I have had to withdraw for health reasons.
Sorry to our supporters, we are gutted to miss out on competing in this event. But rest assured we will be back in a couple of weeks for the BT Race 4 Mates and Gold Cup weekend. Can't wait to get back behind the wheel!

We go again tonight at Ruapuna for the final round of the Graham Hill Roofing Super Series!
Having missed the first three rounds of the series early in the season, we are out of the points race, so we're just out to get more laps tonight before the big events to close out the season.
Thanks as always to those that support us;

Finished the NZ CTRA Midget Title in 5th place yesterday! And most importantly with a clean and straight car after racing on a treacherous and technical track.
In our first Heat, starting 8th out of 8 cars, just took the time to feel out the track and not risk anything, finishing in 7th. Second Heat, starting off the front row on a freshly tilled track was like driving on marbles. Made no mistakes, and finished in 2nd place.
This put us off grid 6 for the 10 car Feature. The turns were like motocross berms, trying to navigate those and keep all four tyres on the track was tough!
Got to 5th off the start and held that comfortably until after a restart, then dropped back to 6th. At one stage got all fours off the ground and stalled the engine, but had enough forward momentum to refire without losing position. In the end, got back up to finish in 5th after a late DNF in front of us.
Shootout to Stu, Corey and the Ellesmere team giving their all on trying to make a good racing surface, sometimes the track just doesn't go to plan.
Big thanks to Dad for all of the effort on the car and travel after four straight weekends of racing at four different tracks, looking forward to a couple of weeks break. Thanks also to Glenn Milroy for the accommodation, and to our supporters;
