A big shout out and huge thank you to all who came to help to plane the bowling green. We were humbled by the support we received from club members and the community. Also Ray Grigg and his team of expert green keepers , Ground Tech Excavation for agreeing to remove all the dirt and Richie Fisher for finding a home for it! Hi everyone As the President of the Diamond Harbour and Bays Bowling Club I want to extend our heartfelt condolences to Bryan and family on the unexpected passing of Julz who has been a long and important member of our club.
Her attitude was positive and outgoing and she was always the first to be welcoming to new people.
Julz was also a very underrated bowler who, when she was focused, could better most but I think she was happiest just to be involved and enjoying the moment.
Julz is and will be missed not only by the club but also by the people at the Twilight Bowls and in the community as a whole.
I am sure we as a club will rally around Bryan and support him.
