NBRFC Div3 2021

Lads, crunch time - season starts April 10th which is this Saturday!!!

Currently we've got a pretty good looking group of lads but unfortunately without a few extra guys we don't have enough to proceed - so we need all your lurkers out there to get down to training so we can see whose keen and if we can have a good crack at it this year.

Div 1 & 2 - have 31/30 plus colts have a decent squad so well get a bit of support there, but we need our own core to make sure we don't end up playing 10 aside again.

See you at training; Wednesday, 6pm - South End of Thomson Park (nearest the club).

Training 6pm tonight lads - Thomson Park at the Northern end.

Training will be ON 6pm every Wednesday going forward unless I post otherwise.

Hi gents, just to confirm - Training is 100% ON for tonight.

Its due to stay clear until about 9pm, so we should be in an out well before its an issue. See you down @ Thomson park.

Training 6pm Wednesday - Thomson Park, the Northern end near the carpark / skate park etc.

Thanks to the dozen guys who turned up last week, be good to build on that for the next few weeks as touch etc slowly starts to wind up.

Looking like we'll have a pretty decent squad this year, so get down and be a part of it.

We will be down at Thompson park, North End nearest the skatepark etc. (Top field by club currently out of action).

BYO Water because covid, but to be fair I can't be bothered taking water to training anyway.

Hey lads, first run for 2021 Wednesday next week (3rd March), 6pm.

If you are interested at all in playing this year, even if its later in the season please get down for this so we can get a gauge on how the squads going to look and getting our s**t together. no worries if you can't train on the night either, just get down so we can do a head count etc.

2020 was a bit of a fizz but our squads looking like we might be able to pick up where we left off in 2018 and get that trophy back in the cabnet.

I'll confirm where about we'll be training early next week, sounds like top fields out of action so likely Thompson park or downstairs on the #2 field.

Hey gents, ignoring the current covid hiccup the 2021 Season is fast approaching.

Looking to see who is keen to play this year, so post up below - Also let us know if you are on the players group page and if not we'll get you added as we will run a poll in days to come to pick some days to get together for a run around.

100 years this year, so would be good to get hold of that trophy from 2018 again!

Hey lads, bit of bad news but with the decline in numbers over the last few weeks and Saturday being the end of the first round, the club has decided to pull out of the competition for the remainder of 2020.

A massive thank you to everyone who has pulled on the jersey this year, and especially to the legends who have turned up week in and week out.

It's been a funny year with the whole worldwide sniffles situation, so hopefully we can build on what we had this year for 2021 and have another good crack at some footy.

If anyones still keen to play footy this year, you are welcome to come along to Div2 trainings and see if you can have a crack at a spot. Xade's the coach and I'll be at most trainings anyway.

With a few injuries we need everyone keen to commit as much as possible if we want to make this work.

Also this is the last week we can play guys who are unfinancial, so even if its a part payment get some $$ in and let Josh know so we can tell the club.

Also need to get some subs rolling in as we've been given an extension out to the 31st - After then if you aren't financial the club has advised you cant play. So even if its just a part payment, get it in.
