Some shots from the recent two day first aid course!
A great source of information which covered NZQA unit standards 6400, 6401, 6402, and 424, with practical, scenario-based learning tailored to climbers, trampers, and backcountry users.

📓✨ A sketchbook. A mystery. A journey halfway around the world.

All it took was a few simple sketches from Max Romey's grandmother's sketchbook to lead him on a generational scavenger hunt to the foot of Mont Blanc. 🏔️ The goal: to find and sketch from the exact spot where she stood all those years ago. A gorgeous film about memory, family, and the mountains. ❤️

Mt Pleasant left work party Sunday 5 July

We are looking to tidy up Mt Pleasant left crag as despite the earthquake damage on the left it still has a decent dash of good trad routes in the 17 to 24 range. It also gets the winter sun.

Everyone welcome!
Sunday 5th July 11am
Meeting at Longridge Drive (the usual carpark for Britten crag)

Bring a spade and a saw or loppers if you have these. Gardening gloves also useful.
We intend to plant 60 or more native trees in amongst the gorse patch and cut and paste the gorse along the base of the crag. (We will provide the gel). The main job though is the tree planting which should pay dividends in years to come.

If you have any questions you can contact Grant Piper by email [email protected]
