Well that's it, apart from the tidy up and clean out we are officially closed. The last two weeks have been very busy with a Sale that certainly emptied the shop.
The whole team would like to thank you all for your support over the years and we certainly hope that we have helped you with your success and enjoyment in the outdoors with our product range, service and advice. We're underway with our 'Learn to Fly Fish' evening, great turnout with 35 clients showing up to listen to Matt Wilson from Manic Tackle Project. If you're running late, see ya soon!

How did Opening Day treat everyone? We have been hearing some great reports from the weekend, certainly sounds like there was plenty of fun had by those who ventured out!
Jacob started the season in style with a sneaky 10lber to kick things off! Well done mate, now all you need is a hair cut!

Emily does it again! After seeing all the boys from the shop getting into the canal trout lately Emily thought she should give it try too. Hot off the press, this 21.5lb beauty is her biggest to date and succumb to an Amazing Baits Lumo Shrimp drifted down the canal. Well done Emily, awesome effort!

It seems like the canals are still fishing well at present. Both Lindsay and myself have been down there recently and along with mates we've all had good success. Here's a few shots of some of the fish we have encountered. Thanks to Charles & Graham for putting up with me and showing me a few tricks!

Our Small Bore Target shooters have being doing really well recently. Here is Emily Craig after being presented with her trophy last night, she won the Christchurch Junior Women's Champ from across the whole season. Well done Emily, looks like you will be giving Lindsay some serious competition next season!
