Your warm-up shouldn’t be a formality.
Most people treat it like a box to tick. Bit of a bike. Couple of stretches. Maybe something they saw on Instagram once. Then straight into the heavy stuff.
The problem is a warm-up that doesn’t connect to what you’re about to do isn’t really preparing anything. It’s just movement for the sake of it.
Every warm-up at TBC is designed around the session. If we’re squatting, we’re opening up ankles, hips, and thoracic. If we’re pressing, shoulders and stabilisers are getting switched on first.
Nothing random. Everything earns its spot.
You move better. Lift better. Feel better. And you’re way less likely to get hurt.
The warm-up isn’t the thing before the training. It’s the first part of it 🤙

Who’s actually looking out for you in the gym?

Most people assume a coach = someone who yells next to you.
But the coaches clients keep are the ones who do the little (boring) things right.

Here are 3 signs your coach actually cares:

1️⃣ They check in: life happens. A quick message saves months of trouble.

2️⃣ They track what matters: strength, movement, sleep, consistency… not vanity metrics.

3️⃣ They personalise & adjust: travel, kids, niggles? They adapt so you keep moving forward.

Bonus: a coach who cares about your life will make training fit your life and not the other way round.
