Good evening fabulous people around the world , I have been thinking about this idea recently and it’s about being an energetic match , I have learnt the hard way as I do most things , that being an energetic match to everything in your life is important for a life well lived .
Now these thoughts have come from the business realm but I stand by this being important in every aspect .
Lets discuss business first shall we , I remember when I first started in business 35 years ago , I had no idea who I was , I had no idea how I was perceived, I had no idea about energy and vibration , I was just desperate to make money in my business , I had no idea actually about anything , but because I had no idea , I attracted clients that also had no idea , I attracted clients who were desperate and anxious just as I was , I put up with behaviour that now I am aware , I wouldn’t , I got treated badly and disrespected all the time , I got trauma dumped on a lot , to the point that after one late night in particular, I wanted to drive into the under pass of the motorway , now none of this is ok , and even though I was an energetic match to what I was attracting, it’s not the energy that I wanted , what am I getting at you scream , what I am getting at is make sure you are walking your walk in your business , if you don’t like who you are attracting it’s time to look inwards and ask ? What kind of behaviour do I want to see by my customers ? And the best way to do this is Number 1 business lesson or TOLoud gift - what is your business vision ? ( What mountain do you want to climb )
What is your mission ( How are you going to climb the mountain?) and lastly and I think the most important- What are your business values ! ( How are you going to behave while you are climbing? )
These are three very important things that huge companies decide on in the early stages and they reevaluate while they are growing ? Think about your values for a moment , do your customers meet your values ? Do your staff meet your values ? You can see where I am going with this .

Thank you for your time , I understand how valuable it is .

I will expand on this more in my new podcast and I will also post it here

Sending love and light Deb

Good evening - it’s currently Friday night here in New Zealand , it’s the middle of winter so it’s cold , I thought it was time I posted and after having those divine words echoing in my head I decided to take the leap and say SO WHAT to the underlying story I am telling myself - I am sorry about the delay in posting , I have been emotionally disabling myself.

I have been listening to the beginning of an amazing Podcast that is called The Life Coach School and one of the episodes covered these two fantastic words .

Now it really depends on your inner dialogue as to how you perceive these words - some may think they are insulting some may think they are disrespectful and others like myself believe they embody freedom and empowerment .

I currently own a couple of salons and every now and then we get a client who isn’t happy with their service , now some background is that my salons are very structured down to the conversation we have with the clients at the beginning, this is to ensure consistency and to take the consultation conversation away from being directed by the client and back to the stylist . And everything is documented , so I can check all the details with my Manager , now I used to take clients being unhappy personally , like an actual failure , and until recently thought all feedback was going to be bad , because of the way I spoke to myself , I believed that everything was my fault , and I couldn’t have good things without pain or discomfort, this was how I viewed everything in my life , wow I can tell you since minimising my drama , because that is all my thoughts were doing, creating drama , even if they were small they were still small dramas , I have started to unlock a new thought and behaviour process , oh where was I sorry , so as I was saying when a client complained I would create a drama in my head - now when I have an unhappy client it can go two ways .
ONE : They want it fixed , this means they like the salon the environment etc just not sure about the hair , we love these clients .
TWO : They go straight for the refund , no chance to fix straight to the money refunded , this is when I now say SO WHAT and refund them - this means they are not a suitable client for our business , they did not get our vision and certainly don’t appreciate our values .

Another thing that I was taught by another great visionary and business woman Denise Duffield-Thomas was the more successful you get the more complaints you will receive, you can’t please everyone and while you are sitting in the drama , you are not making space for clients that do love you and get you xx

Take care and start saying SO WHAT to your drama , you deserve the freedom

Sending love and light

🌸 Why I Created She Rises 🌸

I created She Rises because I know what it feels like to start over.

My mother grew up in a world where men had the power and women had no voice. Her trauma echoed through generations — and at just 9 years old, I watched her break under the weight of it.

That day changed everything for me.

I decided early on:
I would never let anyone control my life.
I would make my own money.
I would rise.

Since then, I’ve built salons from scratch, rebuilt my self-worth, and broken cycles of financial abuse and emotional silence.
Now, I help women do the same.

✨ She Rises is for you — the woman who’s ready to reclaim her power, purpose, and financial freedom.
You’re not broken. You’re rising.

If this speaks to you, introduce yourself in the comments.
You belong here.

💛 Deb
