Two-time Cup winner Raymond Hart is back and ready to make his mark on the 2025 edition.
While both of his previous victories brought the Cup home to Lake Ruataniwha, Twizel, there’s one thing still missing from his legacy—a win in Twizel itself.
Now, with the race returning to familiar waters, Ray is fired up to finally claim a (close to) hometown victory.
Will 2025 be the year he completes the story?

Who’s ready for the 100th year anniversary of the Masport Cup???
You would be absolutely out of your mind if you missed this incredible weekend of Motorsport held at the mighty Lake Ruataniwha presented by Acceleration on Water - Watersport Event Management Lucas Oil NZ and Hydro Thunder
We are all super excited to have all the GP Favourites on site and a few new faces you will want to meet!
Be sure to keep an ear out on the radio for your chance to win passes from your local radio station, Jeremy from Shot360 Photography will be on-site snapping up a storm so be sure to smile and wave!
Bouncy castle, food and drink stalls onsite, it will be a fabulous family weekend for all 🏁🏁🏁

We spat a c clip off the pinion shaft on the starter motor and then the starter wouldn’t engage to start.
We’re putting a new starter motor on for the next heat.

Busy on the tools today changing an engine this morning and dusting off the unlimited UU to give it a test for the Masport. Had a good but conservative run before putting the 468 back in for a hot lap.
No dramas so far and looking forward to cracking into it tomorrow 👍🤞
