Proactive Martial Arts Rolleston

Over the weekend Mitchell and I joined in the Krav Maga seminar at the Riccarton Dojo. 2 1/2 days of so much learning and fun thanks to the incredible Steve Furmedge. Thank you Kyoshi Nigel for bringing him back!
We feel very lucky to have received our 1st Degree instructor ranks in Krav Maga this weekend and are looking fowards to applying the skills we have further developed into our classes for everyone and to bring Krav Maga to Rolleston in the near future!

Panther Senjo for 2025 done and dusted. Another awesome grading by all graders yesterday.

We had some of our students receive their end of year awards at the grading aswell, those who weren't there will receive them in class.

Jake also hit a big milestone for the Rolleston team becoming our first Junior Black Belt! And he represented perfectly.

All Procative Clubs will be closed from the 21st December this year. Thank you all for such a fun year! First day back is January 12th 2026

ZDK senjo grading was full of ups and downs for the Rolly team this year but we are so proud of how everyone handled themselves you should all be happy with how you graded, you gave everything you could with the cards you were given today. The best part of these gradings is seeing how everyone lifts each other up and step in for each other as needed.

Shout out to Will who earnt his adult black belt and to Dai Sempai Fraser who earnt his 2nd Degree black belt you both worked hard today!

Well done to our in house graders for Nov. What a great way to finish the year!

Last weekend we had our end of year Xtreme senjo grading. Everyone graded so well and you should all be very proud of your achievements.

For team Rolleston we had some awards to hand out too our Xtreme group for the students who have been going above and beyond and we appreciate all of their help. Some students didn't attend the grading so they we awarded in class this week.
