We had a very exciting session last Wednesday capped off with an incredible juggling display from one of our most long serving members, Archie, who got 127 in front of the rest of the crew and joined the elusive 100 club!

There were some very proud coaches, and some other players very much in awe.

Congrats Archie!

Mark (Head Coach) and Mario (Silver badge and Co-Coach for the midgets) taking on our mini champions in a friendly game. Great goal Midgets!!! ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️
At this age (3/4 yrs) learning is built by having fun, repetition and encouragement and it's also fun for the Coaches! Shame you lost though Mark and Mario! Better luck next time 😬

Another Success post! ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️

At the end of last term we had 4 amazing players who received their bronze badge through hard work and perseverance.
These badges are not given after a certain amount of time at Elite Feet Academy nor are there any sort of exceptions made in the testing programme. The students are required to perform the competency to a high standard in order to pass. It is a test of stamina, skill and emotional resilience in order to get through. Testing is optional at the Academy however it is encouraged to enable our students to strive towards a goal, focus themselves and work towards personal achievement.
When they attain their goal they wear their badge with pride, as they should.
Elite Feet Football Academy takes pride in the success and effort that our players put in every single week. Well Done Boys! Champions in the making! 🏆

If you are wondering who the person celebrating their success with them is, we were very lucky to have Jonny Otten, Retired Pro Footballer all the way from Germany join our testing for the session to see how we undertake our testing.
Jonny played predominantly Left Back throughout his career.
Born in Hagen im Bremischen, Lower Saxony, Otten played 13 years as a professional at
SV Werder Bremen, making his Bundesliga debut at the age of 18 and never losing his starting position again (except through injury) until the end of 1990.
It was an absolute pleasure for us to have Jonny get involved and he was genuinely very happy for our students who attained their badges and encouraged those who just missed out.
Thank you Jonny for taking the time to come along and be part of our Elite Feet family for the last session of the term.

Hello everyone,

My apologies for last week’s cancellation.

With the sun out, we’re all set for our first session of the term. We’re also pleased to welcome our guest coach from Christchurch United, Josh Sapsford, and we’re looking forward to the experience and insights he’ll bring.

I understand there are still a few players who need to be tested. Please speak with Mark or PJ at training today to arrange a suitable time to complete this.

We look forward to seeing you all out on the field for more skills and games at the usual time and place.
Rangiora New Life School, 3.30pm - 4pm for U5s midgets group/4pm - 5.15pm for everyone else.

Kind regards,
Mark Lupi

Hi All.
Due to the wet grounds we unfortunately need to cancel today's session. Sorry for the disappointment, we look forward to seeing everyone next week.

Hello everyone,

Testing week is coming up again.

We will be aiming to assess all Bronze and Silver players on Wednesday, starting at the usual time of 4:00pm. Bronze testing will take place first, followed by Silver. Please note that Silver assessments may run beyond the usual 5:15pm finish time, potentially extending to around 5:45–6:00pm.

Any remaining Silver assessments, along with all Gold testing, will be completed during a dedicated session at 4:00pm on Thursday (the following day).

Participation in testing is not compulsory. We understand that testing can be a stressful experience for some players, and we make a conscious effort to support them and help them manage both success and disappointment in a positive way. The testing programme is designed not only to encourage skill development and practice at home, but also to help build resilience and confidence.

We encourage all players to set goals, continue practicing, and take part in testing where they feel comfortable. We look forward to seeing the results of their hard work this term.

Kind regards,
Mark Lupi
