It's at least 11 years since I actually swam lengths of a pool. I walk up and down a tiny one every day but this will certainly be a challenge.
Realising that the Coastguard New Zealand is powered by over 2000+ volunteers ment this fundraising drive is a "no brainer" to help keep us all safer around and on the water.

Even though I spend 5 hours a day in the pool, this will definitely be a challenge for me, just like it is for kiddies submerging/ floating/ swimming in the deep end for the first time...

With the help of this little froggie, Merry Christmas

This week we created an exciting "under the sea" experience for the children to see what they can enjoy because they can swim. A snorkel week.
The youngest swimmer to master the snorkel and mask, and duck dive down, was 3 and half. It was a whole body sensory system experience.
Wettie mask and snorkels were top notch.

My bucket is overflowing... Little notes from past froggies while waiting for their siblings....

I'm hoping these gorgeous flowering bulbs, secretly planted by my late mum years ago, will still be blooming when you all return for Term 4.
See you from Monday 6 October for another fabulous term of fun, laughs and exploring the wonderful water.
