Hey 👋 I’m Maya, I’ll be your new Sunday Club Coach!

I’m a former elite runner who’s competed internationally from the mile through to the marathon, with graduate studies in sport psychology and physiology.

I’m passionate about helping runners train smart while keeping it fun.

I’m a big lover of communities centred on fitness, so I’m stoked to support you guys in chasing PBs while keeping it sustainable, social, and enjoyable!

Last weekend, Social Striders Auckland celebrated turning ONE!

What started as an idea has grown into such a special community, and that’s entirely because of the incredible people who have shown up week after week with open arms, good energy, and a genuine desire to connect.

To everyone in Auckland: thank you. Thank you for believing in what we’re building, for welcoming newcomers, for creating friendships, and for making Social Striders feel like home for so many people. We’re endlessly grateful and so excited to see what year two brings.
