Throwback Thursday ❤️ Had some pretty special photos sent in by Scott Vakos of him and Dave North during TPs construction in 2009 and having a jam before it was open to the public. A couple of good buggers doing the mahi so we all get the treats 🤙
Huge thanks to Scott for these!

It is the I ❤ BRIGHTON event today (Waitangi Day) from 11-3 at Thomson Park, showcasing the great things we have all across the area. Most activities are free to try, there are yummy food stalls and a market too so bring $$ for them. Free parking available in Thomson Park below the active zone in the map.

Free community skate jam tomorrow, right across the road from the park at Noeth Wai. Bring the groms!
Supporting local is at the heart of what Pier People do. Which is why we have donated some spot prizes for this fun event happening tomorrow at North Wai Boardriders Club. Pacific Road Surf, Skate and Snow are bringing some ramps, Dyers Road ITM are bringing meat for the BBQ and Cheapskates Christchurch are also throwing in some prizes.

DID YOU KNOW....
That the North Wai Boardriders Club do a Holiday programme? Half the time is spent here at Thomson Park, and the other half across the road at the beach. Check out this edit of their latest programme, and follow their page for the next holidays if you have a young shredder and want to support local!
