We are moving! From 9 March our new home studio will be based in Mount Pleasant. Same great dance lessons, with the added bonus of an awesome view :)
Tonight we had the privilege of teaching a father–daughter dance. In French tradition, this dance often takes place before the bride and groom’s first dance, as a quiet moment to honour family, love, and the bond between a father and his daughter.
The father doesn’t speak English, but that didn’t matter at all—dance is a universal language.

Fun fact: on average, people contact us 120 days before their wedding. The earliest couple contacted us 433 days before, and 12 days was the shortest timeframe :) picture of our (homemade) 1st wedding anniversary cake, cos cake.

It's the middle of wedding season and Chrys and I are loving helping so many lovely couples feel less nervous on the dance floor! Like these guys who chose our 'Short on Time' package and smashed out an awesome dance in 2 x 1 hour lessons!! Congrats G&L!!

We encourage our wedding couples to practice in shoes and clothes similar to what they will be wearing on their wedding day to get used to how they affect their dancing. These guys nailed the brief!!! Have an AMAZING wedding J & C :) ❤️ 😍

A rainy Thursday evening, and another lovely couple dancing their way towards their big day!! It's important to practice in the shoes you will be dancing in (it's a little harder to practice in your wedding dress!!)
The leaves are turning red and brown and the mornings are getting colder, but people keep falling in love and getting married! Excited this week to be teaching a wedding couple and the Father of the bride so he can take his daughter for a few spins around the floor 💃🕺🎉💕
