STARTS NOW ⭐️ There are no excuses….

It’s that time of year where we stop talking about summer bodies and start doing.

For the next 3 months classes will start building up. Not only will we see some progressions and specific cycles but our intentions and focus outside the gym will shift too. New month = new theme. New week = new challenge. It’s time to put in the extra work, summers coming!

A day for the Barbell.

Today we hit both ends of the spectrum. ⚫⚪

We start bringing out the heavy barbells with the Oly lifts.
Priming and developing our neural system. Yesterday was a lot of upper body that was slow and muscular building. Today we want to prime it, focusing on the fast twitch muscles allowing us to move faster.

At the other end we’re building that engine. High heart rate, lots of breathing with little muscular fatigue.

Food for thought

Dieting 24/7 and still putting on weight?

Some people eat such little food for so long that whenever they do eat ‘properly’ they put on weight. …

With that said, if your body was given an excess of calories it would indeed put on weight. But if you diet for too long and our diet intake replaces your normal intake. Trouble.

Some people start a diet, DRAMATICALLY lowering calories, often losing weight fast but as time goes on they can’t restrict their diet further so the weightloss stops yet the calorie restriction continues.

This is where our problem starts!

If this sounds like you, please, sit down with us. More training and less food wont help. We need to start again. A simple post wont cover it.

We can’t train high intensity everyday. 🔥

Listen to the stimulus, modify the workout to achieve this and don’t let your ego take over.

It’s our job to make you fitter. Stick to the plan and watch your consistency get you the results.

Feeling the winter blues 🥶

We get it. A lot of the times you only want to turn up when you’re feeling 100%.

We want to change this!

We want to give you the ability to turn up feeling sub par but with the attitude “we get s**t done”. Therefore altering the program to hit less volume, less intensity if needed, but with the mindset ‘we got it done’.

New Block, different cycles, same goal - Train everything, Ready for anything.

The barriers to training are everywhere and daily.

Don’t let the lack of preparation be the reason you don’t achieve your goals.

When it happens, make adjustments and plan ahead.
