The club held the Mixed President's trophy today to bring the season to a close. There was a great turnout of members and plenty of fun had by all. The winning team was presented with the trophy at the annual prize giving that followed.
The Summerset Lounge was packed for the formal part of the afternoon as our President handed out the trophies. Full results and photos will be on our website.

Morrison Ave Business House 2026 is underway after a false start last week. A much better night with great conditions. This tournament has been running for well over 30 years and it's great to see many teams returning year after year.

Please note that access to the club is currently only available from Sawyers Arms Road. The Council are updating many of the services in Morrison Ave and there is no access from Langdons Road.

Men's Pairs update.
Unfortunately Simon and Campbell couldn't manage that final win to clinch a place in post-section. They were beaten 10 - 16 in round 6 which they needed to win to qualify.
This was great effort from the guys and congratulations from all at Morrison Ave.
Remember tomorrow we have a round of the Women's Singles post-section. The draw will out later tonight so we will lined up for some great bowls.

All the best guys, you can do it.

It's been a good day for the Summerset Nationals Women's singles, Men's Pairs and Disability singles.
At Morrison Ave conditions were perfect and our team of Simon Wilson and Campbell Buchanan did really well winning 2 of their 3 games. The first game against a Royal Oak pair was a big win by about 20 shots. Campbell lead superbly and Simon was able to play with skill and land the finishing touches.
Tomorrow they are playing at Woodend and have some tough games ahead, we wish them all the best.

Tomorrow the men's pairs start and we have Simon Wilson and Campbell Buchanan playing at Morrison Ave starting at 8.30am. This will be a great chance to get and support the guys.
All the best, we will be following your progress with interest.
