Today we had the C Team on site. Concrete Team that is!

As part of our club resilience and maintenance program, we're replacing Piles and Bearers and adding extra bracing to protect against storm surges and earthquakes.

Not the most glamorous work but the Bacon Butties and Beers made up for it 👌🏼

The cooler weather is starting to disappear and the days are slowly getting a little longer and lighter!

This means, once again, our Learn To Sail programs are going to be kicking off very soon! ⛵

If your kids have ever watched the little white sails out on the bay and wondered "could I do that?" — this is their chance. No experience needed, no boat needed (we supply the Optimists), just kids aged 8+ who can swim and are keen to give it a go.

Sailing at Charteris Bay is about way more than boats. Our juniors learn independence, resilience and teamwork — and they learn it outdoors, on the sheltered waters of the sunniest side of Lyttelton Harbour, with a crew of new mates alongside them.

🗓 Sessions kick off in October
⛵ Mon/Tues after school — and NEW this season, we're looking at adding a WEEKEND option if there's enough interest!

Registrations aren't open just yet, but here's the important bit: we're taking expressions of interest NOW — and the more families who put their hand up for weekends, the more likely we can make that option happen.

Takes 30 seconds — pop your details in here:
