Have a read of these trailride rules before you come to the Ward School Trailride Sunday 28 June.
Parents must be riding with any youth’s under 16 years.
Stay on the marked course within 2 metres of arrows as there are lots of natural hazards and the coastal land is easily damaged.
This is a winter trailride with wet ground conditions due high rainfall over autumn.

Had a look at the main course and marked a 5-6k Novice Children’s short loop for the Ward School Trailride Sunday 28 June 2026. Really diverse terrain with some great Enduro options.

Marked the Novice Childrens loop today which is separate from main loop. Then we looked at a couple of good Enduro options with Matt in some gullies so everyone will be smiling with the dry conditions at The Trossachs Trailride Sunday.

Cleared a new route to access a boundary for The Trossachs Trailride Sunday 14 June. Will have a separate short Novice Childrens loop for Family riders.

Hawarden Forest Trailride Sunday 12 July 2026
A Waikari Hawarden Lions fundraiser, the Lions were a great help clearing the original main course of broome and gorse . Then they gravelled tracks in the carpark improving accessability. Each year year lots of sweat and chainsaw work with more forestry trails cleared, we now have a 40K plus circuit with Enduro options. Novice Childrens shortcutsare also available for family riders. The Waikari Hawarden Lions Club will have food and drinks available to purchase on the day.

Ward School Trailride Sunday 28 June 2026
A new venue in sunny Marlborough riding on some rugged coastal hill country. This small school has a very enthusiastic team of parents keen to make this trailride a special one on the calendar. With the option of a Novice Children shorter family loop on the main course, plus Enduro options for experienced riders everyone will be catered for. Ward School will have food and drinks available to purchase on the day.
