VCCC is now recruiting for the new season. The first match will be on the 20th October v Twisted Hop (H). Please pass this on to all cricketers of any ability as we could do with a few more players!

These matches are purely social, and FREE BEER and food is provided. We all had a great time last year and it's a great way to spend a couple of Sundays a month

Volstead's Pub quiz team (Yes It does exist) the VCCC-UC, had yet another victory tonight over the twisted Hop. Our team of 2 (Ned and Allan) Destroyed the opposition with their knowledge of Car Logos, Sports venues and Bunny drawing. Founded in January 2013, Volstead Cricket club was founded alongside the Twisted Hop Cricket Club. This does not mean we are allies in any way, in fact there will soon be a rivalry as intense as the best of England Australia ashes matches. Format is strictly social, currently matches will be held on 2 Sundays in March, but come next summer there will be a 4-way league with ourselves, The Hop, Cassle's Brewery and Pomeroy's. Booze, kit and fun times will be provided, all we need is you. Limited spaces available on the team, but if you show interest updates will be provided....
