Lincoln High School Netball 10A's

Grand finale to 2018 netball season was celebrated with games between the LHS 10As and their families. Pleased to report that there were no 'immediate' injuries...although this may change overnight!

A fun way to sign off the 2018 LHS 10A's season with a great trip to Hanmer for the day.

Thanks to Kate for driving the bus and giving up another Saturday to be with the girls - you have been amazing to them all year!!

My Gosh - what a nerve wracking and exciting game in today's semi final against the LHS 9A's

Both teams were desperate to win their way through to the final!

The lead changed hands several times but it was the 10A's that finished the strongest coming out the winners 32-29

Next week's final will be against Malvern

That means we finish 2nd in the grade and play the LHS 9A's in the semi final next Saturday at 10.30am. It will be a massive game...please come and support us!!

A great performance yesterday against West Melton with the girls winning 25-17.

Everyone played so well it was impossible to pick a player of the day.

Another nail biting win against the LHS 9A's this weekend. The final score was 17-16. We have played the 9A's 3 times this year and we have won by 1 goal in all three games!

Hi. A great final day with a win against Avonside Girls 23-19 but then an incredibly hard fought tight loss to Motueka 28-26 in our final playoff game.
This left us in 26th place overall. While the overall result was not quite what the girls wanted they played so hard and their amazing team spirit is still as strong as ever.

Thanks to Coach Kate who did an amazing job guiding the girls through the tournament!!

Looking forward to the dinner tonight!

A slow start to the day but an amazingly exciting game to finish the day!

The girls are full of beans after a good win to finish the day!

Tournament Day 1 update

A tough day today. The girls fought so hard all day but results didn't go our way

Vs Timarun girls - loss 35-15
Vs Rangi Ruru - loss 34-23
Vs James Hargest - loss 35-26

Another big day tomorrow with three games at 9.30am, 11.30am and 2pm.

Well done to the girls for their massive efforts today.

Great win today against the LHS Senior B team. The score was 19-19 at 3 quarter time but the girls powered away in the final quarter to win 30-24. Great way to complete round 2 and get ready for tournament next week.

Well done to Ava who came on and blitzed the last quarter to get player of the day!
