Ultimately, the ASICS GEL-Kayano 33 successfully pushes the line away from the stiff, clunky stability shoes of yesteryear. If you want a highly durable, protective daily trainer for logging miles with some added support, it is a stellar premium option. However, severe overpronators who deeply rely on aggressive arch support may find the passive guidance system too floaty, and it may not work as well as the previous model; time will tell.
