The Bragging Cup was played today. . . Beautiful conditions, great music, cold beer/wine and phenomenal time had by all.

3-3 draw in games with the Juniors sneaking it 49-47 in ends . . meaning the juniors retain the cup 🏆

Shopping Centre Trophy. Parklands BC held their annual boys vs girls club competition. After lots of oorhhhh! and oh that was close, the final went down to a golden bowl , a one bowl shootout with Jayne Richardson drawing to shot with the last bowl of the day. Once again the girls win the trophy. Hard luck to Paul Bailey and Phil Wenn, and congratulations to Lesley Humpheries and Jayne Richardson. Great day played in the spirit of Paelrklands BC, with the newly formed steel pot and pans band trying to put the boys off. Great fun.

The club wishes to congratulate Carol and Neil as Neil has eventually popped the question and Carol said "Yes". We look forward to the wedding day and party. Best only luck for your future life together.
