SFOA B Team Year 6
Player of the Day: Ella

Ella had a fantastic game this week, reading the play well, finding space, and getting herself into great positions to keep the ball flowing. She also put her jumping ability to good use, pulling off some impressive intercepts. With no subs, the whole team put in a fabulous performance too. A brilliant effort all round!

SFOA A Team Year 7
Player of the Day: Florence

Florence had a standout game today against a very strong Otautahi side, adjusting well to turnovers and delivering some great defence — particularly in the circle. A brilliant effort all round!

A huge thank you to Nick Dwan and Kelly Shackleton at for sponsoring our beautiful hoodies — this team deserves to look the part, and now they absolutely do!

Names on the back, matching on the court, and yes — even the coach got one. We are fully kitted out and ready to go.

So grateful for the support that goes into making this team feel like a team. Thank you for backing us! We wear them with pride.

SFOA C Team Year 5/6
Player of the Day: Hailey

Hailey has shown real improvement over the last few weeks and put her training into practice on the court today in a win against Belfast — a super proud moment to see it all come together. The whole team stepped up too, starting to use the full court and showing real improvement in their passing. A brilliant effort all round!

What a day at the Jellybean Tournament on Sunday! 🏐🌞

Our year 6 team represented St Francis as the only team competing. The stunning day was matched by stunning teamwork, losing just one game by a single point!

Plus, their 'Super Mario Sisters' costumes won them third place in the dress up comp 🙌

So proud of these girls whose skills and game play are levelling up every week. And they encourage and support each other every step of the way.

Player of the Day: Zoe

Zoe had a great game this week, putting her training straight into practice exactly the way her coach talks about each week — reading the ball beautifully and jumping for those intercepts. The whole team had a fantastic game too. A brilliant effort all round!

Willow had an outstanding week, bringing incredible focus to training and then taking that straight into the game — driving for the ball and supporting her team throughout. Attitude is everything, and she showed exactly that. A brilliant effort all round!

Player of the Day: Frankie

Frankie had an incredible game this week, getting her defence over the ball on just about every pass,exactly what the team was working on and topping it off with some incredible goals, all with a massive smile on her face. A brilliant effort all round!

Player of the Day: Indie

Indie had a standout game, pulling off some incredible intercepts and covering the full court to help bring the ball forward. The B Team faced their toughest game of the season so far but showed incredible tenacity, fighting to bring the score to within three. A brilliant effort all round!
