Yoga classes, Christchurch, New Zealand Hi to everyone I had the chance to meet during my yoga classes all around Christchurch and welcome to the new ones!

Let me introduce myself. My Name is Anne Pauline, I am French and a yoga teacher (vinyasa and ashtanga yoga) since three years. I arrived in Christchurch in 2015 after spending a year in Australia where I was lucky to teach Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga as well in different studios. You can see below my bio and a descriptive of my classes:

I began practicing yoga 9 years ago with the hatha yoga but I

What if a yoga challenge did not require you to find more time?

The Spring Yoga Challenge is designed to fit around your life, not the other way around.

Some days you might have 30 minutes.
Some days you might have 10.
Some days you might want something strong.
Some days your body might need Yin or meditation.
And some days you might not practise at all.
That’s okay, there is no perfect routine required.

For 4 weeks, you will have a new collection of practices to choose from each week, with all the content available until November 20.
You choose what you need, you choose when you practise, you make the challenge your own.

The Spring Yoga Challenge begins September 23.
Early Bird NZ$67 until September 11.

Build strength from the ground up.

We spend our entire lives on our feet, yet we rarely give them the dedicated attention they deserve. Constantly wearing restrictive shoes, walking on hard surfaces, or standing for long hours can leave our ankles stiff and our arches weakened—a stiffness that easily ripples up into our knees, hips, and lower back.

The new Foot & Ankle Strength is a focused 26-minute practice engineered to reactivate and fortify your base. Through targeted mobility work, arch strengthening, and ankle stabilization drills, this class gives your lower legs the care and power they need to support you effortlessly.

Think of it as setting a strong, unbreakable foundation for the rest of your physical practice.
What’s inside:
- Targeted exercises to wake up intrinsic foot muscles
- Ankle mobility drills to improve balance and joint health
- A 26-minute grounded session for lasting lower-body stability
Give your feet some love today. The session is waiting for you on Your Online Yoga Studio.

Consistency Trick n’3

Never decide what to practise in the morning.

I used to think that choosing a yoga class was such a small thing that it couldn’t possibly affect my consistency.

But when I’m tired, busy or short on time, having to decide what to do can be enough to make me procrastinate.

So I remove the decision.

The night before, I choose my class and have it ready to go.

Then in the morning:

- Wake up.

- Get on my mat.

- Press play.

- That’s it.

It might sound like a tiny thing, but removing small points of friction can make such a difference when you’re trying to build a habit.

You don’t always need more motivation, sometimes you just need fewer decisions.

Could you choose tomorrow’s practice tonight?

Have you ever stopped in the middle of a yoga pose and asked yourself what your glutes are actually doing? Haha, I guess no... But
Your glutes do more than simply help you move. They help control movement, support your hips and pelvis, and create stability right when you need it.
In this carousel, we explore what your glutes are contributing to three familiar yoga poses:
• Chair Pose
• Warrior III
• Bridge
The goal isn’t to squeeze harder or chase the burn, it’s about becoming more aware of how you use your body. Next time you practise, pause for a moment and notice: which one helps you feel your glutes working most clearly?
Let me know in the comments: Chair Pose, Warrior III, or Bridge! 👇
Want to take this work deeper? Head to Your Online Yoga Studio before the end of the month! August’s focus is Hips, Glutes & Pelvic Stability, featuring this month’s Strength Lab: Using Glutes to Support Daily Movement.
There are only a few days left before we shift to a brand-new topic, so head to the link in bio to check it out while it’s live!

Your permission slip to slow down and do absolutely nothing.

We live in a world that praises constant movement, high energy, and checking off the next box. But your nervous system isn’t designed to run on high speed forever. Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do for your body and mind is to completely pause.

The new Yin Yoga for a Supportive Reset is a cozy, comforting 25-minute practice designed to hold space for you. We completely step away from effort, muscular engagement, and sweat. Instead, we use simple props to support the body in passive, long-held postures that target the deep connective tissues and melt away stubborn tension.
Think of it as a deep, physical sigh of relief. Grab a bolster, pillow, or blanket, dim the lights, and let’s turn down the volume of the outside world.

What’s inside:
- Deep, passive holds to target tight fascia and joints
- Grounding breathwork to soothe an overstimulated mind
- A cozy 25-minute transition into complete relaxation
Your mat is ready, and there is absolutely no effort required. The session is waiting for you now on Your Online Yoga Studio.
