Christchurch Session Delayed One Week

With the recent government announcement and COVID-19 Alert Levels in Auckland resulting in restricted travel, New Zealand Bloodstock has made the announcement to delay the Christchurch session of the 2021 National Yearling Sale exactly one week.

Selling will now take place from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 February, with the yearlings selling in the same order and time as catalogued.

The later time will also give Northern buyers, trainers and agents the opportunity to physically attend the sale.

Arrangements are being made to house the yearlings in Christchurch for an additional week before selling can commence.

The lightly bred race winning mare has a 100% starters to winner strike rate, with SEE YA WRITE, EYRE CRUSER and LUTETIA MIDFREW all saluting the judge across the Tasman.

Ex Southland pacer SEE YA WRITE landed in WA late in 2020 and has wasted no time making an impression, scoring two wins and and a phenomenal second at his last start ( a must watch https://www-harness-org-au.akamaized.net/wa/GPC28122005.mp4) from his first three starts.

He looks set to try to emulate half brother's EYRE CRUSHER successful WA career which saw him amass nine wins and a 2nd in the Group 1 WA Derby.

Her fifth foal is an outstanding c**t by Sweet Lou, arguably the best stallion she's been mated with. As we continue to down scale, he will be available for purchase at weaning time.
